Overview
These Hotel policies set out the main rules that apply when you stay at Kowju Airport Hotel Calicut (“the hotel”, “we”, “us”). They work together with your reservation confirmation, rate plan, and any special terms we agree in writing.

Check-in and check-out
- **Standard check-in** from **2:00 p.m.** on the day of arrival.
- **Standard check-out** by **11:00 a.m.** on the day of departure.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request and is subject to availability and **additional charges**. Please contact the front desk in advance.
If you expect to arrive after **10:00 p.m.**, please inform us so we can hold your room and arrange access.
Identification, security deposit, and payment
All guests aged **18** or over must present a **valid government-issued photo ID** at check-in (for example passport, Aadhaar, or driving licence). We may refuse check-in if identification is not provided.
We may **pre-authorise or hold a security deposit** on a payment card or accept a cash deposit where permitted. The amount and release timing depend on your rate plan and length of stay.
Room charges, taxes, and extras are payable as shown on your confirmation or folio. Unless your rate plan states otherwise, **incidentals** (telephone, minibar, laundry, airport transfers where chargeable, and similar) are billed at checkout.
Guest conduct and quiet hours
We expect all guests and visitors to behave respectfully toward staff, other guests, and neighbours. **Aggressive, discriminatory, or threatening behaviour**, illegal activity, or use of the hotel for commercial filming or events without prior written approval may result in **immediate removal** without refund.
**Quiet hours** are observed from **10:00 p.m.** to **7:00 a.m.** Please keep noise, including television volume and corridor conversations, to a reasonable level at all times.
Smoking, vaping, and alcohol
The hotel operates as **non-smoking** except in any **designated outdoor smoking area** we may signpost. Smoking or vaping in rooms, corridors, or other indoor areas may incur a **deep-cleaning fee** and could lead to eviction.
Alcohol may be consumed in **private guest rooms** and in **licensed** hotel outlets only. Bringing outside alcohol into public hotel areas may be restricted. We reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated guests.
Registered guests may receive **day visitors** in public areas or in their room with front-desk approval. Visitors must **register at reception** where we require it for security.
**Maximum occupancy** per room is the number stated for your room category. Additional guests beyond the booked count may incur **extra person charges** or require an upgrade.
Children and infants
Children are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult. **Infants** (under 2 years) may stay **free of charge** when using existing bedding; **cots** are subject to availability and a **daily fee** where applicable.
Children must be **supervised** at all times in the pool (if any), fitness area, car park, and other shared spaces.
Pets and assistance animals
**Pets** are **not permitted** in guest rooms or public areas except where we have explicitly confirmed a **pet-friendly** rate or package in writing.
**Recognised assistance animals** for guests with disabilities are welcome when required by applicable law, subject to reasonable behaviour and hygiene standards. Please notify us before arrival so we can allocate a suitable room where needed.
Rooms, facilities, and damage
Please treat hotel property with care. **You are liable** for loss or damage caused by you, your visitors, or minors in your care, including broken fixtures, stained linen, or missing inventory, at **replacement or repair cost** as reasonably determined by the hotel.
**Minibar** and **in-room amenities** are metered or inventoried; consumption will be charged to your folio.
Lost property
Items left behind may be kept for a **limited period** and disposed of or donated if unclaimed. Valuables should be stored in the **in-room safe** or **front-office safe** where available. The hotel is **not liable** for unattended personal property except as required by law.
Wi-Fi, parking, and shuttle
**Guest Wi-Fi** is provided for **reasonable personal use**; no guarantee of speed or availability. **Unlawful downloads**, hacking, or excessive bandwidth use may lead to disconnection and further action.
**Parking** and **airport shuttle** (if offered) are subject to **separate terms**, schedules, and fees posted at the hotel or confirmed at booking.
Complaints, changes, and governing terms
If something is not right during your stay, please speak to **duty management** immediately so we can try to resolve it on the spot.
We may update these policies from time to time. The **“Last updated”** date on this page will change when we publish a revision. **Cancellation, no-show, and amendment rules** for your booking are set out in your confirmation and rate plan; where they conflict with this page, the **confirmation** prevails.
